These General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of this website. Source Designer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions from time to time. The current version of the General Terms and Conditions are those accessible on the website.

1. Returns and Refunds Policy

All sales are final. We do not accept refunds. Please inspect all photos and condition notes carefully. Please see below for rare exceptions, limited to the following cases only:

1a. Item Not as Described – We are transparent with our photographs, description and condition notes for listed items. You may request a return via email within 3 days of delivery of the item, if you can evidence that the condition of your item is contrary to what was listed.

1b. Item Not Authentic – Our items undergo a two-step authentication process: by our in-house team and using Entrupy’s global verification technology. If you wish to dispute authenticity and initiate our Authenticity Money Back Guarantee, buyers will be asked to provide alternate certified evidence.

1c. Faulty Goods - If you believe the goods are faulty, please email info@sourcedesigner.com.au within 3 days of delivery of the item, with a description of the fault and photos. Items found to be faulty will be entitled to a refund.

Refunds are processed onto the original method of payment only.

2. Order Cancellation Before Shipping

If you cancel your order within 24 hours and before the item has shipped, we can issue a refund minus the merchant banking fee which is a charge incurred to Source by the merchant and not refundable (around 3% of the transaction). Please contact us by email immediately.

3. Shipping, Delivery Time and Cost

Packages cannot be sent to a PO Box, cannot be left at a property and always require a signature upon delivery. Orders are typically dispatched by Source within 1–2 business days.

Australia:

Items under $1,000: Express Shipping $12 (discounted price). Shipping time is 1-2 business days or 3–7 business days for rural areas, after dispatch. This is a tracked service and requires a signature upon delivery.

Items over $1,000: Express Shipping currently free. Shipping time is 2-3 business days, or 5-7 business days for rural areas, after dispatch. It is a tracked service, the buyer receives updates and it requires a signature on delivery.

New Zealand and all International (Taxes):

For International orders, customs duty or taxes may be enforced by the authorities in your country. The customer is entirely responsible for these charges. Source Designer cannot inform the customer about these charges. Refused orders on this basis will not be accepted.

Shipping time is typically 3-5 business days for New Zealand and 3-8 business days for other international destinations, after dispatch. This is a tracked service and requires a signature upon delivery.

Gold Coast Click and Collect:

Orders are available for collection from our Surfers Paradise studio. Please select ‘in-store pick up’ at checkout. Address provided in your order confirmation. Our Click and Collect is not considered a ‘viewing’ of the item.

4. Authenticity and Money Back Guarantee

Every item we sell is 100% authentic. Our items undergo a two-step authentication process: by our in-house team and using Entrupy’s global authentication technology. If you wish to dispute authenticity and initiate our Authenticity Money Back Guarantee, buyers must provide certified evidence of such. If an item is found to be counterfeit (non‐authentic), upon return of that original product and a certified contrary report, Source will immediately initiate a refund process.

Please Note : Our items are digitally ‘Fingerprinted’ using Entrupy technology and easily identified by Source as the original product sent out to customers.

5. Buyer Responsibilities & Item Representation

It is the responsibility of the buyer to review the item description before purchase, noting the item condition and any packaging or accessories that come with the product; these are listed in the product description. Item photographs and descriptions on the website will show shots of the actual item, description of any flaws on our preloved pieces and condition grades. (Shots of the product on models may also be used). Please note that colours may vary according to our photography lighting and your screen display settings.

Once you receive confirmation of your order, check that it is correct.

Orders can only be changed or cancelled within 24 hours (prior to dispatch). Please contact us by email immediately.

We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from sale at any time.

6. Prices and Advertised Discounts.

Prices on the website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices reflect condition of the item and market demand, determined by Source at our discretion.

The discounts shown are an indication of what buyers would normally pay at full recommended retail price (RRP) from the brands. The percentage is calculated as follows: (Brand’s price for the item in AUD – Source Designer’s price in AUD) / Brand’s price for the item in AUD, then multiply by 100. This results in a percentage that reflects how much you save by purchasing the item resale instead of new from the brand.

7. Payments

All prices displayed are inclusive of GST and are correct at the time of them being entered into the system, however, we reserve the right to change prices on our website at any time without notice to you.

You may only use one discount code per order. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any orders where you add more than one discount code to the basket.

Payments can be made by any of our accepted methods (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, AfterPay.)

8. Source LayBy Payment Plan - available for Australia only.

For items above AUD$1,000, buyers can use our Source LayBy Service (Bank Transfer), with a 20% non-refundable deposit. Balances must be paid in full within 6 weeks, with no interest to pay. Payments must be made directly into our bank account and details are provided at Checkout. Deposits go towards the purchase price, are strictly non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another item.

This service allows you to reserve an item, which will be held by Source Designer until the final payment has cleared into our bank account.

The Source LayBy service can be cancelled before the 6 week period, but the buyer agrees to forfeit the non-refundable 20% deposit.

If the LayBy is not completed within 6 weeks, buyers will be sent an email reminder advising you have 24 hours to complete the transaction in full, before an automatic cancellation of the LayBy takes place. No correspondence will be entered into after this time.

8.a. Source LayBy Process:

Select “Bank Transfer” at Checkout. You will be provided with bank details. Transfer your 20% deposit and email us to confirm. Note the completion date (6 weeks) in your diary, as regular reminders will not be sent.

9. Limitation of Liability & Variation of Terms

Source Designer reserves the right to change terms, withdraw items, or adjust classifications and pricing, subject to full T&Cs.

Warranties are limited to what is stated in our Authenticity Guarantee and does not cover normal wear or eventual deterioration from use.

10. Privacy Policy and Use of Data

When you shop with Source or sign up for our newsletter, we may contact you via email to keep you updated about your purchase, plus additional promotional offers and new arrivals. If you do not wish to receive this, you can unsubscribe at any time. As a Shopify Partner, you can read our full Privacy Policy available on our website.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including without limitation to designs, text, illustrations, photographs, logos, images and video, are the intellectual property of Source Designer or its content suppliers. Where brand’s photography has been used, they remain the trademark and property of the brand mentioned and credit has been given. Nothing contained on the website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any material appearing on the website, without our prior written approval. Source Designer disclaims all warranties, except for the Authenticity Guarantee, to the extent permitted by applicable laws and any all liability for damages arising from the use of or inability to use the website.

12. Brand Affiliation

Source Designer is not affiliated with the brands we represent. We act as agents for private individuals selling their designer goods.
